The Bike That Rides on the Beach
“Nothing like shell hunting from the bikes. They went great on the packed wet sand.” That’s a rider’s review, and it’s the whole pitch. Twice a day the tide pulls back and leaves a lane of hard, wet sand along the waterline, flat as a boardwalk and close to empty at sunrise. On these east-facing beaches, sunrise comes straight up out of the Atlantic. Low tide lands about 50 minutes later each day, so the same rental week hands you sunrise rides early on and golden-hour rides by the end. This bike was built for that.
4-Inch Fat Tires: Wide enough to float on packed sand where a regular bike digs in and quits. They’re just as happy on pavement for the ride to the beach access.
90 Nm of Torque: The strongest motor in our fleet, because sand asks more of a bike than pavement does. The 750W motor peaks at 1,300W when the going gets soft.
Up to 65 Miles Per Charge: Sand riding uses more battery than pavement, so plan on less than the maximum out there. It’s still more than enough for a morning on the beach and an afternoon of towns. Charger included.
Designed for Long Rides: A suspension fork takes the chop out of rutted sand, and the upright riding position is easy on backs and wrists. A step-through frame makes it easy to get on and off.
The Salt Is Our Problem: Beach riding is hard on bikes — that’s why we rinse, service, and maintain these between every rental. You just ride. Of course courtesy rinses are appreciated.
A few honest notes from the delivery van: the riding is best on the wet, packed sand near the waterline around low tide, some stretches restrict riding in peak summer hours, and dunes are always off-limits. They’re protected, and the soft sand won’t carry a bike anyway. We’ll point you to the good access points when we drop off.

It’s doable on a fat-tire e-bike near the waterline at low tide for confident riders, and state rules require staying 50 feet from the horses.
